My name is Teodora Svilenska and I am a high school student in Montreal. I'm studying at Collège Saint-Louis and it's my last year. This is my final project in order to obtain an international diploma. We call it the PP (Personal Project), because everyone chooses the subject as well as the entire project and we have to do it outside of school classes. I decided to create a website because on the internet more people would have the opportunity to discover Bulgarian folklore than on paper. I chose to speak about Bulgaria and its folklore mainly because I am Bulgarian, born in Sofia, and I found that it is a very culturally rich country, but that very few people in Canada know. In addition, I am part of a traditional dance club and it was an opportunity to combine my interest and my project in order to obtain a result that could last a long time.
